MeetSpot Rome
Circolo Degli Illuminati
Via Libetta 1, Roma
What to expect
Circolo Degli Illuminati is a major Ostiense nightclub with three rooms, an outdoor area and a restaurant, hosting house-music DJ sets from Thursday to Sunday under a smart-elegant dress code — a high-energy club environment more suited to dancing than deep conversation.
How to approach
The early-evening aperitivo hours in the outdoor area, before the club fills up and the music gets loud, offer the best chance for actual conversation; later on, it's a dance-and-shout scene.
